TikTok Transcript Generator

Full links such as tiktok.com/@creator/video/123… and public vm.tiktok.com or vt.tiktok.com share links are supported. Short links must resolve to a permitted TikTok video URL. Profile links, photo slideshows, livestreams and login-restricted content are not supported.

The free path accepts downloadable MP4 video with AAC audio, no longer than 30 seconds and no larger than 20 MB. A public video may still be blocked by region or unavailable for download. Karmo reports that limitation rather than bypassing it.

Free transcription gives you the audible words in their original language, with a copy button. It does not read silent on-screen captions, add timestamps, translate, or explain editing choices. Three requests per visitor are available in a rolling 24 hours. Failed attempts count, and network or service capacity limits can also apply.

A reused sound can be louder than the voiceover. A duet may contain overlapping voices. Fast cuts can interrupt a word. Check those passages against the video before treating them as quotations, especially for names, prices or instructions.

Music-only videos can have no spoken transcript. On-screen text is not a substitute for audible speech. If retrieval fails, check that the URL opens publicly and that the video meets the duration limit before trying another link.

Are these TikTok’s automatic captions?

No. Karmo transcribes the audio it can retrieve from the public video. Neither on-screen captions nor this transcript should be assumed correct without checking the audio.

Does copying or retrying cost another free request?

Copying is local to your browser. Retrying the same URL within your current 24-hour window reuses its request status. Cached results for a different URL still use a free request slot.
